Luma's Light
In the deepest blue of the electric sea lived Luma, a tiny jellyfish with threads of cyan and violet light.
The ocean around her was beautiful, but it was not always safe. Cold shadows moved through the reef. Predators watched from the dark. Many small creatures hid because they were afraid to shine.
Luma was afraid too. She was small, soft, and surrounded by things much stronger than her.
One night, she saw a lost baby turtle circling alone in the darkness. The turtle was scared and could not find the way home.
Luma could have hidden. She could have dimmed her glow and kept herself safe.
But instead, she chose kindness.
She drifted forward and let her light shine a little brighter.
Her glow did not attack the darkness. It did not fight the predators. It simply became a signal - soft, gentle, and brave.
The baby turtle followed her light. Then silver fish came closer. A shy seahorse floated near. Crabs, eels, and other creatures slowly joined her glow.
Even those who once seemed dangerous did not chase her. They watched her kindness and felt the warmth of her light.
Luma showed them that light was not only for survival. Light could guide. Light could comfort. Light could bring strangers together.
Soon, the dark ocean was no longer lonely. The reef shimmered with tiny lights, and the creatures who once feared each other began to move as one.
Luma was still small, but her kindness had changed the sea around her.
She learned that you do not need to be the strongest to make a difference. Sometimes, all you need is the courage to shine when the world feels dark.
